Energy Peace Partners - Due Diligence

Once your pre-screening application (or at least one project on your pre-screening application) has been approved by Energy Peace Partners, you will be able to proceed with remaining due diligence items on Odyssey. 

After being approved, you will be invited to the “Energy Peace Partners - P-RECs Due Diligence” Program in Odyssey. 

General Program Information

  • Navigate to Finance > Programs
  • Select “Energy Peace Partners - P-RECs Due Diligence” from your programs list
    • View more information in the Resources section from the top panel
      • Select the documents or folders you would like to download
      • Click the Download button.
      • You will be notified via email when Energy Peace Partners program administrators upload new documents

Submit your Qualification Application for a single project or for a portfolio of projects

  • Navigate to the Application section of the Program from the top panel
  • Complete all required fields, remembering to save your work often.
  • Click “Submit
  • NOTE: If you expect you will have new projects or portfolios to submit at a later time, simply leave those sections blank. You will be able to submit new information later on.
Submit documents as part of Energy Peace Partners’ Due Diligence process 
To upload new documents for Energy Peace Partners' review: 
  1. Navigate to the Application section of the Program from the top panel
  2. Click on the Attachments tab on the top of the page
  3. Organize file uploads into the preset folders, based on the due diligence steps, outlined below.
  4. NOTE - You must always include the project or portfolio name in the file name. If you have multiple portfolios or multiple projects you are not submitting as a portfolio, please organize those files into separate sub-folders.

Track new document submissions

  1. Navigate to the Messages section of Odyssey
  2. Send a message to Energy Peace Partners to let their team know you have completed a new step in the due diligence process (i.e. submitted new document(s).) 


Share your projects with Energy Peace Partners

You may already have created and modeled on the Odyssey platform. If this data already exists in the platform, you can share those projects with Energy Peace Partners for review. Otherwise, you will create new projects to be shared with Energy Peace Partners.

To share a project:
  • Navigate to Plan > My Projects

  • Choose the Project you would like to share from your Projects list

  • Navigate to Project Submission from the top panel

  • Click “Share Project with Organization” and select Energy Peace Partners from the list of dropdown options

If you have not already created and modeled your projects on the Odyssey platform, you will need to create new projects and enter detailed information in the project's data modules. Please refer to our platform help guides for more detailed step-by-step instructions on creating a project here.


To create a new project: 
  • Navigate to the Claims section
  • Create a new project by clicking on the Mini-grid project icon
  • Fill out location and other basic details in the Information section
Note: This project will be auto-tagged with the program "Energy Peace Partners P-RECs - Due Diligence"

The following data modules are optional: Load In the Load module, you will provide information on the number and type of customers as well as the projected load profile. Learn more about creating a load assessment. Generation Design Once your load profile in Odyssey is complete, you can design a generation system. Odyssey is integrated with HOMER Energy to enable rapid system design based on your load assessment. Odyssey pulls in your 8760 load profile and site location to design your generation system. Learn more about designing your generation system. If this is an interconnected mini-grid, be sure to pull in the grid component to your design. Distribution Design In the Distribution Design module, you will track and categorize capital expenditures related to the distribution network and customer connections. The distribution system costs will be pulled into the Financials section and used to calculate project financial performance metrics. Learn more about tracking distribution design costs. Costs The Costs module, is a place to track and categorize project capital and operating expenditures. These will be pulled into the Financials section and used to calculate project financial performance metrics. Learn more about tracking costs. Revenue The Revenue module calculates your revenues based on your defined tariff structure and forecasted load profile. Learn more about entering your tariff structure. Financial In the Financials section, you will enter project-level sensitivities and account for ramping/growth rates for your load assessment. The financial page uses all the information you entered into Odyssey to calculate key financial metrics. Learn more about calculating project financials.

Track your application status in Odyssey
  1. On Hold - The Energy Peace Partners team is still reviewing or requires extra information to be able to qualify your application. You will be able to upload extra documents and modify your application. 
  2. Not Approved - You have not been selected at this time by Energy Peace Partners.
  3. Approved (Due Diligence) - You have been selected by Energy Peace Partners to move forward with Due Diligence and will be asked to upload additional documents as part of your application.
