FAQ: How do I run backfill for my integration
Once you have created your integration on the Odyssey platform, you have the option to run a historical data backfill. This allows the system to retrieve data from before the date the integration was created. To initiate this process:
Set Historical Data Dates:
- From the Home page, navigate to Analytics > Data Integrations.
- Locate your integration and click the three dots (ellipsis) in the Action column.
- Select Edit.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Historical Data section.
- Enter the Start Date for the historical data you’d like to retrieve.
- Enter the End Date for the historical data. These dates define the time range for which data will be backfilled.
- Click Save to initiate the data backfill process.
To Rerun Historical Data (if dates were previously entered):
- Return to the Data Integrations page.
- Click the three dots (ellipsis) in the Action column for your integration.
- Select Rerun Historical Data.
A notification will appear in the top-right corner of the screen confirming the process has started.
Please allow some time for the system to complete the data retrieval.
