FAQ: How do I use the new verification tools to understand my verification status?
Integration Diagnostics
When a connection fails verification, Odyssey now shows you why, and lets you review, fix, and reverify it directly from the Connections page. On the Connections page, you'll find two new tabs, Browse and Fix.

When to use this
- Some of your connections failed verification.
- You want to know why a connection failed beyond the verification status returned.
- You fixed your data and want to check that it now passes.
How it works
- Go to the Connections page and run Verify.
- If some connections fail, you will see a message with a Diagnose & fix button. Select it. Tip: click View Rule Details first to see the verification rule, all possible statuses, and an example scenario.

- You will see the failed connections grouped by reason (for example, "Payment not found").

- Open a connection to see its diagnosis. This shows what Odyssey expected and what it actually found in your data. You can also click the search icon beside a connection to see more detail on the underlying data for that ID.

- Fix the problem. This usually means correcting a payment, meter reading, or ID.
- Select Reverify to check the connection again. You can reverify one connection, a whole group, or everything at once.
- Wait a few minutes, then refresh the page. Fixed connections will now show as Verified.
Common problems and how to fix them
- Payment or meter data is missing: Check with your data provider, then use Run integration now to re-sync. Note: this re-syncs all connections, not just one, so only run it once your data is actually fixed.
- Wrong ID: Odyssey can show you if the payment was filed under a different ID by mistake. Fix the ID so it matches.
- Date is outside the required window: Check the connection date is correct, and check if newer data is available.
- Payment amount is zero or negative: This must be corrected at the source (your payment or meter provider), then resynced.
Tips
- Fix one group of similar failures at a time, then reverify just that group.
- Make sure your data is actually corrected before you reverify.
- Give reverification a few minutes, then refresh the page.
