DARES MST for Interconnected Mini-grids

The Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria (REA) in collaboration with Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs) in Nigeria has selected 40 sites following technical due diligence from a broader number of sites for tender in the first phase of the DARES Minimum Subsidy Tender (MST)  program. The REA which is the DARES project implementing agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) intends to initially select Applicants that will compete under a minimum subsidy tender process while  leveraging the Odyssey platform.  Submissions outside of the platform will not be accepted.  Please read the guide thoroughly for instructions on how to submit an application to the DARES MST Interconnected Mini-Grid Program

Initial Selection Phase

1. Review program information

If you have registered to participate in the program, you will be able to access the program information within Odyssey. To see all program information:
  1. Select Finance > Programs
  2. Select DARES MST for Interconnected Mini-grids from the Programs list

2. View program documents

  1. Click the Resources tab
  2. View and download the program documents
    1. Select the documents or folders you would like to download
    2. Click the Download button

You must read all program documents thoroughly before submitting your program application to ensure that you understand all the requirements of the program

3. Complete the qualification application

Applicants must submit an application for the initial selection stage of the DARES MST for Interconnected Mini-grids program. Applicants must demonstrate that they are eligible and qualified to enter the site-specific technical application phase.
  1. Select the Application tab
  2. Complete the DARES MST for Interconnected Mini-grids form
  3. Click on the tabs to navigate between application sections 
  4. Click the Save button periodically to ensure your work is not lost
Notes
Required questions have red asterisks (*), you will not be able to submit your application until all required fields have been completed.

4. Upload application documents

To upload your files:

  1. Go to the Documents Upload section in the application form.
  2. Drag and drop your files into the upload area, or click Browse to select files from your device.
  3. Ensure you upload all required supporting documents in this section to successfully submit your application.

To upload additional files not listed in the Documents Upload section:

  1. Click Application > Attachments at the top of the Application tab.
  2. Upload your additional documents by clicking Upload Files and selecting the files you wish to add.

5. Submit your program application

  1. Ensure all required fields are completed and all required documents have been uploaded
  2. Click the Submit button
  3. Once submitted you may no longer make edits to your application.

6.  Check your Submission Status

You will also receive an email notification of any changes to your application status. See a description of each status below.
  1. Submitted

      Your qualification application has been successfully submitted 
  1. Evaluation in Progress

      Your application is currently under evaluation by the program administrators. They are assessing your qualifications and determining if you meet the necessary criteria.
  1. Incomplete

  Your application is missing required information. It has been reopened for you to make necessary edits. Please provide the missing details and resubmit your application for review
  1. Selected

 Congratulations! Your application has been reviewed and accepted. You will receive an email notification with detailed instructions for the next steps.

  1. Rejected

        Unfortunately, your application has been reviewed and not accepted. 

7.  Communicate with program administrators

You can communicate with the Program administrators via the Messages section provided under the program. To do this,
  1. Select Finance > Programs
  2. Select DARES MST for Interconnected Mini-grids
  3. Select Messages > Type and Send your message.
